Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the third-party company that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
We retain an email or other message you send long enough to respond and maintain the related correspondence. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Menard County Criminal History does not keep, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal-record information. It provides general directions to records held by the Menard County Sheriff's Office, the local courts, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor data is not compiled into a consumer report or a dossier about another person. Texas criminal-history dissemination is governed in part by Government Code Section 411.083 and the public DPS subset authorized by Section 411.135.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes shown on the site. A query submitted there is handled under that provider's privacy policy, including its own retention and disclosure rules. We do not control those practices, so review the provider's policy before entering a search.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Menard County sheriff, court systems, Texas agencies, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Once you follow one, the destination's privacy terms control the visit. Check those terms before providing personal information.
Some advertising providers may track activity across different websites to tailor ads. That processing takes place through their systems rather than ours.
